Legal notice

This notice gives the information that the Japanese Act on Specified Commercial Transactions asks sellers to disclose when they take orders by mail or online. It applies to orders placed with Cron Renown for made-to-measure lingerie.

Seller

Business name: Cron Renown. Representative: the name of the individual responsible for the atelier is disclosed without delay when you ask for it by email. We answer enquiries by email; we call back where a call helps, and we ask you to write first rather than turn up without notice.

Prices and other charges

The starting prices shown on the Products page are in Japanese yen: Custom Bra from 14,800, Custom Panties from 7,200, Everyday Set from 20,500, Soft Bralette from 9,600, Postpartum Comfort Set from 22,000, and Alterations and Refitting from 4,500. Your written quote states the total amount payable, including consumption tax. Carriage is agreed when you place the order and is shown in the quote. A bank may charge a transfer fee, which is paid by the customer. We do not add any other charge without telling you first.

Payment

Payment is by bank transfer or by credit card through a secure payment link that we send you. A 50% deposit is due when you confirm your order and measurements, and the remaining 50% is due before the piece ships. We do not ask for the full amount in advance, and nothing is paid through this website.

Delivery

A piece usually takes three to four weeks from the day the order is confirmed and the deposit has arrived. We ship after the second payment, and the carrier and delivery date are given in the quote. If the schedule changes we will write to you.

Returns, cancellation and defects

Each piece is cut to your measurements and is worn next to the skin, so we cannot accept returns or cancellations for a change of mind after cutting has begun. You can cancel by email before cutting begins, and we refund the deposit apart from transfer charges that we cannot recover.

If a piece arrives damaged or differs from the agreed quote, tell us promptly, with a photograph, and we will remake it or refund the amount paid. Your first order includes one free adjustment; return carriage for the adjustment is paid by the customer. These conditions do not affect any right you have under Japanese consumer law.

Ordering and language

To order, write to us through the enquiry form or by email. The order is confirmed when we reply in writing and the deposit is received. The website, quotes and correspondence are in English, and we can talk through measurements in plain language if you would like help.

How an order is made

The sequence is the same for every piece. You write to us and we reply by email. We send a written quote, a printed measurement guide, a soft tape and a swatch card by post. You take your seven measurements, send them back, and we check them with you. You confirm the order and pay the 50% deposit. We cut and sew the piece in Naruto, ask for the second 50%, and ship once it has arrived. Every step is written down, so you always know what has been agreed and what comes next.

Measurements, fabric and colour

Fit depends on the numbers you give us, so please follow the guide closely and tell us if you are unsure about any point; we would rather ask you to re-measure one or two points than alter a finished piece. Fabric and colour are chosen from the swatch card, because colours can look different on a screen. Photographs on this website illustrate the craft and the fabrics; they are not photographs of customers and not a promise of how a specific piece will look on a particular body.

Personal information

We use the details you give us, including body measurements, only to quote, make, adjust and deliver your order and to keep the records the law requires. Measurement sheets are kept for two years after your last order and can be deleted earlier on request. The privacy page explains who receives which details and how to ask for a copy, a correction or deletion.

Questions about an order

For anything about a quote, a delay, an adjustment or a defect, write to info@cronrenown.com and mention the name you ordered under. We answer by email, and where a call will settle it faster we will arrange one. If we cannot settle a disagreement between ourselves, the governing law and the court named on the terms page apply, without limiting any right you have as a consumer.
